Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction is done after the removal of a breast(s), usually for cancer, on an immediate or delayed basis. This procedure can dramatically improve a woman's self image, self-confidence and quality of life. There are many options in breast reconstruction, but all require a series of procedures to achieve the final result. Some involve implants, tissue expanders or flap type procedures. Insurance must cover these surgeries. All options will be discussed at your consultation.
